Objectives:
Project designed to assist Nigerian regulators and supervisors to come up with an effective legal and policy framework necessary for the smooth transition of eligible banks to holding company status. Project also featured a study tour to BB&T Corporation in Winston Salem USA.
Participants:
Executives of the Banking Supervision Department and the Financial Policy and Regulation Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
